The Bernie Stahl Mile will be run this year on the Onteora High School (Bernie's home track) all-weather track in Boiceville, NY. The mile heats are grouped based on your predicted finish time. The heats are run from fastest to slowest. This format ensures everyone is in a competitive race based on their ability and eliminates getting lapped.

The day of registration begins at 5:45 pm. Everyone will line up at 6:15 pm to be (seeded) assigned a heat. The first heat (fastest) will start at approximately 6:40 p.m.

The awards are for the top Overall man and woman and the top three in each age group, starting with under 13, 14-19, and then ten-year age groups from 20-29 up to 80+. Typically, we have had 6-7 heats.

We will have short dash races on the infield turf at 6:30 p.m. for the youngest children. We have a nuclear family team division of 3 members that must include at least one child and one parent.

Online entry fees are $8 for adults and $5 for youth ages 18 and under. Day of entries for adults will be $10 and $5 for youth 18 and under.

The children's dashes are free. There will be light refreshments.
